The Olwyn Dobson Combativity Award

The Olwyn Dobson Combativity Award is in memory of Olwyn, a wonderful tenacious scouser, who sadly passed away in December 2013. Olwyn was a lover and great supporter of all sports during her long life, and we believe this would be a fitting tribute to her memory. The prize of £50, plus the trophy is to honour the most combatative racer in the Women's race.

Parcours

The Course

The beautiful surroundings of the Scotland's Sporting University are a perfect backdrop for what promises to be a incredible morning of racing.

In conjunction with the University of Stirling we have managed to secure closure of the entire South side of the loch, including all roads and car parks. This means we can offer a challenging circuit around the main University building. It's not without its perils though; you'll encounter long speed bumps, a few small ramps and some lovely swoopy bends.

Starting at the main University road outside the main Cotrell building entrance, you head through the car parks of the building, past the Stirling Management Centre, along the back road (over some long speed bumps), and loop past the boiler house, before sweeping back along the scenic drive towards the macrobert cinema.
